The Bird Who Forgot How to Sing
Although a children's book for ages 4-8, this book contains a topic of interest for older children too. It addresses the feelings of a bird who didn't know why he felt the way he did, not wanting to be with his friends, no desire to sing and then not remembering how to sing. He eventually regains his joy and his voice.
Although it is a simple story with a side mystery, children may identify with the bird's feelings or be encouraged to be a good friend to someone hurting. Ages 4-8
